Senior Associate Attorney

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Law Degree from an ABA accredited Law School

  • Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana (other state licenses beneficial)

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the private practice of law

  • Legal experience in the areas of business, real estate, civil litigation, estate planning and probate

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

  • Strong client service orientation

Duties and responsibilities

  • Drafting Real Estate and Business Purchase Agreements, Leases and Contracts

  • Assisting in the preparation of pleadings, notices, subpoenas and discovery

  • Drafting comprehensive Estate Planning Documents for simple to complex clients

  • Analyzing client financials and providing asset allocations and reallocations

  • Conducting legal research

  • Independently conducting client meetings and providing legal advice and solutions

  • Independently managing and delegating to support staff

  • Analyzing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions

Associate Attorney

Requirements and qualifications

  • Conducting legal research

  • Coordinating and filing all discovery documents involving attorneys and clients

  • Reviewing discovery cases and providing updates to attorneys

  • Analyzing conflicts in legal matters and advising clients on solutions

  • Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Communicating with partners to ensure cases are handled efficiently

Paralegal

Requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Experience in the areas of business, real estate, civil litigation, estate planning and probate

  • Minimum of 3 years in the private practice of law

Duties and Responsibilities

  • New client intake

  • Summarizing and preparing case files for attorney review

  • Conducting research and investigating facts

  • Reviewing legal dockets, secretary of state filings, real estate property cards and deeds

  • Drafting legal documents such as contracts, leases, probate, guardianship and civil litigation pleadings, estate planning documents

  • Preparing and filing documents with courts

  • Organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases

Case Manager

Requirements and qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent

  • Office experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

  • Skilled with technology

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including calendaring deadlines, and providing reminders as necessary

  • Manage attorney case load and present case summaries/updates to attorneys ensuing deadlines are met

  • Organize and maintain case files and information concerning client engagement in accordance with the firm policies

  • Review case files for completeness and communicate with clients or other advisors regarding deficiencies

  • Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements

  • Prepare and organize client binders, manage electronic files and proper correspondence of case files to clients and other advisors

  • Communicate case status with clients, other counsel and advisors, as requested

Litigation & Business Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Requirements and qualifications

  • Associate’s degree required Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigation and business law.

  • Experience with case management software and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Clio).

  • Knowledge of court rules, filing procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Litigation Support:

    • Assist with case preparation for litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

    • Organize and maintain case files, discovery responses, and deposition transcripts.

    • Prepare exhibits, affidavits, and trial notebooks.

    • Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and opposing counsel.

    • Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in case strategy development.

    • Attend hearings and trials, if necessary, and assist in trial preparation.

  • Business & Real Estate Support:

    • Assist with the formation and dissolution of business entities (LLCs, corporations, partnerships).

    • Draft and maintain corporate governance documents, including board minutes, resolutions, and bylaws.

    • Support mergers, acquisitions for real estate and business transactions.

    • Draft and review contracts, leases, and other business agreements.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate appointments, meetings, and deadlines.

    • Prepare and file documents with courts

    • Maintain up-to-date records and case management systems.

    • Communicate with clients and third parties as directed by attorneys.

  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    • Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential and sensitive information.

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    • Proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
